Per your votes, the story I’ll be twittering over the next few weeks is
<drumroll>
“The Black Boxes”
Thanks to everyone who took the time to cast a vote. The place to catch the story is

First installments begin at noon Eastern Time.
See you there!
I like the fact that I don’t need pants to read it but I do have to register. Then I might be tempted to “tweet.” Impossible choices I tell you…
Just found this Twitter thing. I can’t keep up with all the websites being touted as “Essential” and so ignore most of them.
As regards The Black Boxes, I think you should drop the last sentence, as the previous one ends nicely. Start a new paragraph.
Of course, that’s just my opinion, I could be wrong. Read it thought, though.
Hey Phil,
It can be exhausting, all the place you’re supposed to log into and check on a daily basis. I’m kind of enjoying it right now, but we’ll see how long it lasts.
Appreciate the feedback. Twittering a story is interesting – the 140 rule breaks things up almost into prose poetry, reveals some structural weaknesses, and creates some inadvertant wonderfulness here and there. The gaps between my bursts (I’m doing about 4 tweets 3 times a day) gives each burst an otherworldly, disconnected feeling. I can’t decide if that’s good or bad yet.
