I was given a copy of “The Electric Church” about a month ago. I though it was excellent. I have since bought and read all 4 Avery Cates books.
Question: Why are the first two books available in hardcover and the last two only available as paperback? I have an extensive library at home (500+ books) and I try to keep it all hardcover.
Looking forward to your next book. I think your books are some of the best I’ve read in a decade.
While it’s…Different, I can’t say I at all like it. The french cover of The Electric Church was radically different but very much embodied the vibe of the story. This…. Is there even a single gasmask in the entire Eternal Prison? Except for ObFu? From a cover design point, to me this is shoddy, amateuristic, and completely incoherent to the contents.
But that’s solely my opinion.

Shayral: So, you like it? 🙂 I dunno; I don’t think covers need to be very close to the story within. It’s all about mood, and that’s why I like this. But, of course, to each their own.
WOW!
Glückwünsche, Herr Somers!
