Jeff, you’re so awesome for doing this!
I’m only slightly embarrassed about how long
I spent trying to figure out your little code.

& rest assured, I’m still going to buy a copy.
    You need booze money.

    Damn it.

I spent hours on this what was the answer?

drevco: Okay: The title of the web page is NOTICE. There’s a font called “Notice”. Everything on the page is written in the font Notice; the top portion spells out THE FINAL EVOLUTION, the bottom spells out “The Answer is ‘Toledo'”.

    Ta-da!

Thanks. That’s what I tried typing in about 2 hours ago it said try again must have been because i had caps lock on. Look like I’m keeping with my preordered copy of the book
    lol

I didn’t do the font bit. What did take some time was figuring out that the “e”s didn’t represent letters. Other than that it was pretty simple as only one letter(the “d”) wasn’t present in the rest of the text.

Henrik: Some folks here thought the puzzle was too difficult, but I knew it would solved in a very short time. COngrats on being the first!

Oh wow… I didn’t even think about guessing the two e letters weren’t actually letters. I narrowed down what letters were unused in the puzzle and kept trying to fit them in to _tole_o_ and eventually threw in the towel. I’m glad it’s answered now, it’ll be one less thing keeping me awake at night!

Also, the font thing? That’s brilliance right there.

    Thanks, Jeff!
These ‘e’s added 20 mins to me trying to solve the puzzle :)
